BirchBerry was made in response to a lightening-struck birch tree found on the path that circles Lake Raynaud at Domain St Bernard, Mt Tremblant, Quebec during 
the Festival of the Laurentians.

The red berries were collected in the forest area surrounding this tree and were placed in the split caused by the lightening strike, in a gesture of healing and honouring.
